The Other Side of Darkness explores the city of Feryl, ruled by the merchant class, and its surrounding and subservient states. Magic disappeared long ago, its story only legends and its secrets destroyed, lest those in power fall. Remnants remain, however, and ambitious magi and their unwitting allies help to restore magic for the good of all, or at least that's what they claim.
